Deprived

A mixed media work with actual beach sand mixed with oil paints. The barren earth, a dry river bed depicts dehydration; symbolizes lack of emotion or being deprived of love creating a longing , a thirst that needs to be quenched! The multicolored spheres on top are symbolic of emotion, love, passion reaching out to quench the deprived life. Blue symbolizes water for the dehydrated land, green the trees so essential for our planet, yellow the sun - the eternal source of energy without which none is possible.
