A Sojourn through Van Gogh's Wheatfield.

"Through the iron-barred window I see a square field of wheat in an enclosure, above which I see the morning sun rising in all its glory." For Van Gogh wheat was a symbol of the eternal cycle of nature and the transience of life. My humble attempts to emulate the master. The year 2020 with so many challenges. Confined at home with less hospital work I embarked on the journey to recreate a Van Gogh on a large canvas. With patience and perseverance, lost in the brush strokes...inspired and at times frustrated...I sought my own joy and inner peace.
